Hello, I am starting this fundraising effort out of desperation. I started a business about a year ago and used all of my savings, credit, and some of my spouses money to start it. I thought it was fool proof as I’m sure a lot of people do starting a business. It was very busy and had plenty of good feedback but as time went on I wasn’t able to take any paychecks or money out of the business to pay my debts down. Eventually it got to the point (due to some unexpected issues with the building that the landlord wouldn’t fix) that I had to sink more of my own money into it to keep the doors open. This was a bad decision and due to my own personal debts I had to close abruptly. Starting this business I gave up a good government job and a happily stable lifestyle to try and make a dream happen. I have now lost my home and live in a shed with no bathroom, have 80k + in debt from multiple places. My car is falling apart and isn’t going to last much longer. It took me almost 3 months to land a minimum wage job. I am completely exhausted of options and can’t declare bankruptcy for most of my debt. About how half is taxes owed to the government who will hold me personally responsible and if I declare bankruptcy on my personal debt then I will most likely be living in a shed and unable to get a car for a long while. I need help but come from lower income background and have absolutely no one to help me not that I expect help. Basically, I came across this website and am hoping that maybe someone or a lot of people feel enough sympathy and have some money they would be willing to donate to help me. I know this is not a unique story but boy I could use the help.
