Hello!! My name’s Aaron and I’m trying to start a lawn care business. The issue I have is the overhead cost to start-up. I’m trying to get equipment for snow removal, so I can plow this winter and not worry how I’m going to make it through the winter with no work. My plan for the winter once I have my LLC is to do snow removal, scrap metal, dump runs, and I have a small trash pickup route that I currently do that I would run through the LLC if the need to do that was there. I don’t want to just do lawn care as I have skills to do other things as well. I would 100% need to get an LLC, but I don’t want to if I can’t come up with the overhead costs to get more equipment and invest into marketing in order to get my name out and have more places to do so other then just Yelp!, Thumbtack, and Facebook. Although I have received 90% of my customers from Facebook, so Facebook works. If I’m able to start getting more equipment through the help of other people and this campaign I would then create the LLC and take the necessary steps to start getting my name out. The money made from plowing (if I can this winter) would go towards buying more needed equipment (dump trailer, leaf sucker, bigger mower, bigger trailer, ECT). I would start with used equipment for now if I absolutely had to. Right now all I have is a 2 wheel drive truck (with 267,000 miles), a small trailer, 1 John Deere D140 mower with bagging system, 1 backpack blower, 1 weedwacker, 1 detacher, 1 take, and some other various hand tools. That’s what I used to start my first season with and have gotten by with this equipment, but with more equipment and the right equipment I would be able to get things done faster and more efficient.

I pray people find this to be a good thing to donate to. I would keep anyone that wants to be updated on how things turn out updated. I can’t do this without the help of other people. If I was 18 years old and trying to do this, then I probably could do it on my own, but I’m 39 year old and need get this going before I’m too old and everyone that said I couldn’t wins. My goal is to prove all the people that said I couldn’t wrong.
