I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you with a heavy heart, seeking your kind support in a time of desperate need.

A few years ago, I took a bold step to improve my family’s future by starting a secondhand clothing business in Kenya. I borrowed $15,700 from the bank, and initially, my business thrived. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic brought unforeseen challenges that led to the collapse of my business, leaving me burdened with the bank loan.

Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to recover financially. I am now faced with the daunting task of repaying this loan while providing for my family. I have two beautiful children who depend on me for their education and well-being. Each term, I need to raise nearly $400 to ensure they can attend school, in addition to covering our basic living expenses. Currently, my monthly income is only $130, which falls drastically short of meeting these needs.

This situation has not only affected my immediate family but also halted my ability to support other needy children whom I had been assisting before my financial crisis. If I can manage to pay off this loan, I will be able to use my full salary to provide for my children, pay for their education, and resume helping other vulnerable children in our community.
