Story
Hello Friends ,thank you for taking time to visit this page. Iam Doreen from Uganda , Founder of Dorvic Counselling Agency. Ugandans/Africans are greatly in need of your help love and support.
Dorvic Counselling Agency is a Community-Based Organization found in Uganda, East Africa. Its main core is to change the lives of the needy like Orphans, many children on the streets, students and single parents But it is a constant struggle for the organization to meet all their needs.
Uganda is very unstable politically and many people are in need of help in that many things like school fees and prices are greatly increasing even some parents and Children do not have houses to live in and very many are left to suffer for themselves.
The expenses are many and very expensive like food, rent, electricity, clothes, girls needs, school supplies, school fees,housing and many students stop at primary levels or secondary and many are depressed who we eventually do provide counselling services /mental health to them.
We can all see that Doreen’s dream is to build something great by helping all those in need and hopefully they can also help more in the future.
I can imagine that it is not easy to find such chores when the area is full of children and young people trying to earn something to earn a living.
Education and housing is so incredibly important and something they need in their future as their way out of poverty.
It is a gift we can help them with that no one can take away from them
And yes education and housing is the big main goal here, but the money will of course be used for basic necessities ,mental health and medical cares if needed
If you would like to support an individual child then of course, everything can be arranged just let us know and we will organize it.
Iam a Ugandan and am very much aware of what Doreen is talking about.

Quick facts about school in Uganda.
1. In Uganda, school starts at the age of 5 years.
2. Most children only attend primary education which is at 9 years. 67% of pupils complete primary school. All school streams are always 70-150 students per class, from outside with no classrooms and very hungry which is a problem for them to learn.
3. Many get married at a very early ages and many become single parents due to diseases and living in very poor conditions.
4.Many do not have houses and daily necessities.
