My name is Manda, and I am reaching out for financial assistance due to a series of challenging events that have significantly impacted my life. In May 2024, I lost my job following the death of my best friend and boss, who passed away from cancer in March. She was not only a mentor but also the heart of our company, and her absence led to a shift in the company’s dynamics. Unfortunately, the higher-ups decided to let go of those of us who were loyal to her.

In the midst of this turmoil, my roommate—who was also a close friend—stopped paying rent for five months, leaving me to shoulder the financial burden alone. Despite my efforts to support both of us, I found myself struggling to make ends meet as she redirected her funds toward moving in with her boyfriend.

Compounding these difficulties, I lost my car to Hurricane Helene, making it increasingly challenging to attend job interviews and seek new employment. At 41 years old, I have never experienced a day of independent financial stability. I have always been the one to support others, but now I find myself in a position where I desperately need help. I am tired of being the savior; it’s time for someone to save me.
