Hi, my name is Gabriel, and I’m a single father doing my best to take care of my child while life has thrown more at us than I ever imagined.

Recently, I was laid off from my job due to company wide cuts. Since then, it’s been a daily battle just trying to stay afloat. My car is currently in the shop, making it difficult to get around and look for new work. I’m behind on rent and just lost access to water in our home due to non-payment.

I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this, but right now, I’m struggling. I’m trying to keep a roof over our heads, get my car fixed so I can search for jobs, and catch up on bills so my child has the basics running water, a warm place to sleep, and a sense of stability.
