Hello, my name is Amy.
I live in Australia.
I have a 4 year old Cat named Smokey.
Smokey recently underwent an emergency operation, due to having a blocked bladder.
Prior to this, he had three Vet visits to unblock his blocked bladder, via a catheter.
Each Vet visit cost me a lot of money.

The surgery cost even more.
I had to take out a loan to pay for the Vet bills, which have totalled $10,000 Australian dollars.
I am a single parent of two Sons, who are in school.
Because of this debt repayment, I am struggling to pay our basic living costs.

I am asking, if there is anyone who is able to donate any money toward this $10,000 debt, it would be much appreciated.

Smokey is a friendly, loving boy, and I often refer to him as my therapy Cat, as he’s been my companion at times when I’m very anxious and depressed.

The alternative to not getting Smokey the surgery, was to put him to sleep for good.
But my boys and I didn’t want to do that, as  it would break our hearts.

Smokey is our only pet. And never did I think that he would have such a health issue, especially one where it costs so much for Vet bills.

Anyway, I thought I would just put this out there, in the hope that someone who is in a financial well off position could help.
I don’t like asking for money.
But I know that if I was in a position financially to help someone, I would.
