My name is Melissa, and I’m building a handmade candle and wax melt business rooted in comfort, creativity, and faith. What started as a way to create extra income during difficult financial seasons has grown into something much bigger — a business with purpose. I hand-pour candles and melts in unique scents like strawberry pound cake, rainbow sherbet, and other comforting fragrances designed to make people feel peace, joy, and warmth in their homes.

Right now, I am the main creator behind the business, handling everything from product creation and scent testing to packaging, branding, customer service, and marketing. I also have support from family and friends who encourage the vision and help where they can as the business grows.

What makes this business different is the heart behind it. I want every product to feel personal and uplifting. I plan to include encouraging Bible scriptures, thoughtful packaging, and handmade details that make customers feel like they are receiving something special instead of mass-produced products. My goal is to create products that people connect with emotionally — gifts that bring comfort, encouragement, and happiness.

My vision is to grow this from a small home-based business into a recognizable brand with a loyal customer community, online sales, seasonal collections, and eventually wholesale opportunities and local vendor events. I also want to expand into gift baskets, specialty wax melts, room sprays, and custom collections for holidays and special occasions.

The money raised through crowdfunding will help me purchase:
