On March 17th, 2025 I went to court for my back balance in the amount of $2000, for maintenance fees and non payment of rent. This was accumulated throughout the years from renting my apartment in the housing complex for over 15 years. I’m on a fixed income, social security disability for a chronic pain disorder which affects my ability to work for a living. I’m also a single mother of two daughters with no help from their fathers. In court the landlord requested to have me evicted and vacate my apartment and I loose my section8 voucher for the balance owed of $2000 if I don’t pay by June 30, 2025. I asked for a payment plan and sign an agreement to pay off the balance and keep my apartment so I myself and my kids are not homeless in about two months! I was denied my proposal to stay in the apartment however I still need to pay off the bill before June 30th, 2025 in order to keep my section8 housing assistance voucher which helps me tremendously be able to move in and afford a new apartment on my income. I currently have little to no money to pay off the bill and paying off the debt can be really beneficial to me and my kids. Please help! I’m begging for any type of financial assistance any amount would really help me and my children. We truly value this support as this will help us not be homeless.
