Saving up for a used but reliable car
Story
Hello there, I’m a 23 year old who is struggling to save for a car. I came from an incredibly dysfunctional family and moved away for good the moment I saw the opportunity to. Things were alright until I buried myself in debt trying to help people I personally knew and cared about. Pretty soon, I became homeless and even lost my car after it could no longer take me to work. I now walk to and from work and the only non-toxic relative who took me in.
At moment, I have cleared about 75% of my debts since then amd began to do therapy. I even started to save up for both an apartment and a used car simultaneously so I can ease the feelings of guilt and of perceiving myself as a burden to others. I am a long journey’s away from getting to a point where I can be fully independent and guilt-free. I do not ask that you take pity on me and my life story, but I do ask for a little bit of aid in reaching my goal of being set free. I really don’t have very much pride or shame holding me back from asking for help anymore.
