I’m reaching out today with a humble heart to ask for assistance during a very difficult period in my life. Recently, I experienced a medical emergency that required hospitalization, and unfortunately, as a result, I lost my job. After years of struggling with heart issues, it finally led to 3 separate hospitalizations, each time lasting longer than the last. This unexpected turn of events has left me not only trying to recover physically, but also struggling financially to meet basic needs like rent, utilities, and food. 

Since my hospitalization, I have been actively searching for employment. However, one of the ongoing challenges I face is finding a workplace that can accommodate my current medical needs, including regular hospital visits for ongoing treatment and monitoring. While I remain committed to getting back on my feet and securing a stable source of income, this has understandably made the process more complicated and slower than I anticipated. In the meantime, the bills don’t stop. Rent, groceries, transportation, and medical expenses continue to add up, and I am doing my best to stretch every dollar. But the truth is, I am falling behind. It has been increasingly difficult to keep a roof over my head and food on the table. I never imagined myself in a position where I’d have to ask for help in this way, but I know that sometimes we all go through seasons where we need a helping hand.

I’m seeking temporary support in the amount of $500 – 1500 to help cover essential needs while I continue to search for a job that fits my situation and allows me to take care of my health while also earning a stable income again. It would not only help me maintain stable housing, transportation to interviews, and nutrition, but also give me the breathing room to continue focusing on both my recovery and my job search without the added stress of late or missed bills. Sharing my story with someone who may be able to help, or pointing me toward resources or job opportunities, would mean the world to me. I am determined to get through this chapter and regain stability, and I truly believe that with a little support, I can overcome this challenge.
