Hey! My name is Miguel, and I’m 22 years old. I’m reaching out because I’ve recently been facing some tough times and could use a bit of support to get back on track. A few months ago, I was living with my (now ex) girlfriend and working in her city, but we broke up unexpectedly, and I had to leave the job and return to my hometown. Since then, I’ve been looking for work, applying every day, but I haven’t had any luck yet. Right before the breakup, we were planning to buy a car together for €4,000 to split the cost since we would both use it. I did pay €2,000 upfront, and after the breakup, I still needed to pay the rest on my own. I borrowed €1,200 from my grandmother to manage, but now, with no steady income, it’s been difficult to pay her back. Currently, I’m living with my mom, stepdad, and brother, but things are tight financially, and I need to help out with whatever small funds I do have. For two months now, I haven’t been able to give anything back to my grandmother. I know that things are difficult for many people right now, but any contribution would help me work toward repaying my grandmother and give me a little breathing room to focus on finding a job.
