In August of 2023 I was in the active duty Air Force and was seeking a way to gain financial freedom and start my own business venture. I signed up to be a Credit Partner through a company called Wholesale Shelf Corporation. A Credit Partner is an individual that secures business credit cards for a business. Typically, people who have good credit but no money (myself) can be paired with people who have no credit but have funds and want to start a business. I was matched with Aaron Ramos, my business partner. I secured $52,000 in business credit cards for his company, GDTOP Consulting Services. The contract him and I signed stipulated he could use the cards at his discretion and he alone would be solely responsible for paying the cards. Over the next year, he paid the bills for the first 6 months, racked up $52,000 in debt, ran out of money to pay the cards and I am now left with all this debt because I am the guarantor on all of the cards. I do not have the money to sue him nor do I believe he has any money I could win to pay down the debt.

I have never missed a payment in my life until now. I enrolled with National Debt Relief and am now paying $707 a month for the next 6 years on debt I did not create a penny of. If I am given a grant to pay off this debt, I plan to instead use that $707 a month (or at least most of it) to donate to Save the Children, a charity that can feed 3 children for a month off of $50.

My 780 credit score is now 520 and falling. I am narrowly avoiding bankruptcy. I left the military in May and have been working 80 hour weeks as an EMT in a busy 911 system ever since. I start Paramedic school in December and have only ever been pursuing ventures in which I can help people. It has broken my heart to be used and betrayed like this and I just want to get my life back. I am swimming in debt (not just this 52K but a car loan and mortgage as well) and am seeking a way out.
