Story
Hello, like most people these days, I have fallen into hard financial times.
After making the hard decision to leave my husband of five years, my whole life started going down hill. I lost my job, and shortly after that I lost my home.
I began to think maybe I should have just stayed with him and dealt with the emotional and psychological abuse and him being an alcoholic. But I couldn’t put myself through that anymore. Living in my car was / is my only option right now.
It seems like it just keeps getting worse though. I’m four weeks behind on my car payment and my car is due to be repossessed any day now and if that happens I’ll be stuck on the streets with my fur babies. I can’t let that happen. I currently do Uber deliveries as my job, but I’m terrified that I’m going to walk into a restaurant and pick up an order and my car will be gone when I come out. I can’t let them take my car, so I’m kind of stuck right now. Any help would be amazing.
