Story

Hello I am a 43 year old female who is struggling just to provide food and shelter for myself. I found myself in a situation that no one thinks would ever happen.  A little while back I was walking down the street when I all of a sudden did not feel to well . It went from not feeling well and sitting down to all of a sudden in severe pain screaming to where someone called 911 and paramedics came and had to pick me up off the sidewalk and rushed me to hospital.  I was rushed into emergency surgery due to a perforated bowel. Once I did come out of surgery I was put on a ventilator on life support for a month. I am blessed to even be telling this story however I need some help. I have lost my job, have no family, and government public assistance has not been of much help. I have been sleeping outside in a tent and barely able to find food to eat. I have been in and out of hospital due to infections due to living conditions and also due to lack of nutrition.  I am just trying to find help in paying for possibly a hotel room for a short period just to get warm and clean up and some food to help gain my strength back. Anything is truly appreciated.  I’m not looking for a handout just a hand up . Drs have put me permanently out of work and have been denied disability.  I don’t k know where else to turn.
