I’m really in a hard place financially and could use some help.
Story
Hi to anyone reading this my name is Kayla. I live in Ohio and I am asking for some help for back rent. About 4 months ago my boyfriend lost his job of 5 years and I was the only one working for about 2 months at minimum wage and it started the ball for us getting behind.
We both work full time jobs but the bills didn’t stop coming and our rent has now raised to 1000 dollars a month. I am only about a month and a half behind now but we have had to catch up not only on back rent from June but a 400 dollar car payment electric and stuff like that.
Realistically we would need about 2 grand. Just to cover August and Septembers rent to finally be able to be in a stable place and not worry about losing our home. The area we live in I have called all rental assistance number organizations and things no one has money to give people for assistance. I am doing the best that I possibly can because the last thing I can afford to do right now is get an eviction and have that on my record cause no one rents to anyone with evictions and I don’t have 1200-1700 for a new place. I’m sorry to have to ask. I’m embarrassed it’s humiliating.
