I’m a 52 year old man originally from Minnesota. I currently live in Los Vegas. In September of 2001 I was struck by a car and pronounced dead on Santa Monica Blvd. Due to the grace of God the ambulance drivers brought me back on the way to Cedar’s Saini. It took me about 6 months to walk again and recovery has never ended. The driver had no real licence and last known address were fast food locations. I lost everything I had.

I picked my self up and got back to work for another 17 years. Then one day I got up and realized I lost my ability to walk again. Struggling and confused I made my way to my doctor. She immediately had me off to a specialist. They got me in and operated on my spine. Another year of recovery to walk with limitations. During that time I filed for disability only to be denied. I had a lawyer assist me and that’s still ongoing in 2025.

During my regular MRI visits they noticed a cyst in my kidney and determined it to be cancer. They wanted to take my kidney out and put me in dialysis. That i refused I’ve tried to seek alternative treatment only to be denied. My city of hope doctor i provided him my research on a drug known to cure cancer. (Ivermectin) He replied to me “go find another doctor” so with that and losing all my possessions once again since I couldn’t work. I decided to go elsewhere from Los Angeles.

With no money no place to go I figured Vegas was the next closest place I could go. Living in Las Vegas threw the summer months is no picnic, especially with no money out home. It’s brutally hot and no place to go. I’ve managed to stay out of trouble and get by. With no means of income and no disability I was hoping to try and save up for a camper van. I just found this web site and figured I would give it a try. This may not go anywhere but their is a slight chance just maybe I can raise enough to get a old van and park it in some shade. I thank any and all of you in advance for any assistance you might provide.

I never realized how badly homeless people are treated until I became one of them. People are rude and heartless to the homeless. It’s a daily struggle just to keep your sanity on the streets. With that said I thank you.
