Story

• Currently living in a shelter and trying ti get a home and cover my educational cost to be able to provide a better life for my sons on my own. I have a 6 and 8 year old that are my absolute world but because I Currently live in a shelter I have almost no access to them other than a few hours a week. When I lost my place I stayed in motels and fell behind on my child support, I really just want the ability to provide for them on my own and because of my history I was referred to a Peer support program called Favor to pursuit my certificates in peer support and substance abuse counseling but can’t cover the cost regardless of this being an amazing opportunity.  Eventually I want to start my own non profit to serve the needs of people effected by dual diagnosis here locally.
