Hello all,

I lost my job and place in quick succession last month. At the same time, I lost my bank account because I was scammed out of all my savings while trying to get some help, and my bank (Wells Fargo) ended their relationship with me. I am currently homeless, broke and subsisting on food stamps (which are getting low for the month).

I am job hunting online, but the snag is that even if I get an interview, I don’t have bus fare or nice interview clothes. I’ve had to skip out on two job opportunities already because I couldn’t make it out there. I mainly need some money for a bus pass to make it out to any other interviews, as well as for interview clothes so I can look presentable.

On top of all that, my brother is getting married next week. I told him I would make it, but that was more than a month ago when I was still working and had money. My situation has taken a nosedive but I haven’t yet told him I can’t make it. If possible I would also like some additional funds to purchase a plane ticket out to California (from Nevada where I’m located) to make it to his wedding.

I don’t have a bank account. My only ways to receive funds or pay for anything are Paypal and Venmo, both of which I have debit cards for.
