Hello again,my name is Marina. I am 21 years old, from a small town in Bosnia, and I’m the mother of a two-year-old boy. Life as a young mother has been full of challenges, especially when stable employment opportunities are scarce. But despite it all, I dream of a better future for my family, a future built around my biggest passion—cooking.

I was raised by my father, a man who taught me the meaning of resilience. He did everything he could to ensure we had a decent life, even though we lost my mother when I was still a child. That loss was devastating, but my father’s strength helped us endure, and from him, I learned that with love and determination, we can overcome any hardship.

When I became a mother myself, my life changed completely. My husband and I welcomed our beautiful boy into the world, but we soon found ourselves struggling to secure stable work. Yet through all the uncertainty, one thing has remained constant—my love for cooking. Food has always been more than just nourishment for me; it’s a way of expressing love, of bringing comfort to those around me.

I dream of opening a small restaurant in our town—a place that serves traditional Bosnian dishes made with love and care, just like the meals my father used to make for me.
