I am reaching out for help to replace my beloved and essential electric scooter, a ZERO 11X, which was stolen from outside a friend’s apartment a few months ago, even though it was locked securely to a tree.

The Impact of the Theft

This wasn’t just a leisure item—it was my sole form of reliable transportation. I used it for everything:

• Getting to work and appointments.

• Running essential errands, like grocery shopping.

• Most importantly, transporting my roommate’s young daughter to and from school.

Since it was stolen, simple tasks have become incredibly difficult and time-consuming. My quality of life and ability to manage daily responsibilities have been significantly reduced.

The Need for a Replacement

The ZERO 11X is a high-performance scooter, which I purchased in 2020 using funds I received from the Pandemic relief program. This scooter retails for approximately $4000, which is why I have not been able to replace it on my own.

While the exact ZERO 11X model is no longer widely available, I have researched similar, high-capacity replacement models that will meet my heavy transportation needs. My goal of $4000 will cover the cost of a new scooter and allow me to restore my independence and get back on track.
