Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during a challenging time in my life and humbly asking for your support. Due to the economic downturn, my teenage daughter and I recently lost our apartment, which has made finding affordable housing even more difficult. Currently, I’m living with my mother, who unfortunately has not been very supportive throughout my lifetime, she’s turned this unfortunate turn of events into an opportunity for herself and is now charging more rent than I can reasonably afford and has left me with no opportunity to save any money. I’ve realized that I need to find a more sustainable living arrangement to regain stability and sanity.

Moving into a new apartment would provide me with the security I need, but the financial burden of deposits, 1st months rent, and moving expenses is more than I can handle alone at this moment. Any contribution—no matter how small—would mean the world to me. Your generosity will help me take this important step toward creating a more secure and stable future for my kind intelligence daughter who currently is in high school. She is the one suffering the most from this situation.

I’ll spare you the long list of hardships we’ve endured the last 6 years between a bitter divorce custody battles all during the height of the covid crisis  I’ve wrote and rewrote this request multiple times and just typing it all out was therapeutic in its own way. However in hindsight I felt a long 30 minute reading session of my woes and unresolved anger towards my Ex and animosity towards my mothers favoritism towards my never been employed almost 40 year old brother whom has never paid her any rent was not beneficial for anyone.
