Story

I’ve been on a journey to become a DJ, and while I’ve developed my skills and even earned a DJ certificate, there’s always been one barrier I haven’t been able to overcome: the cost of professional DJ equipment. Growing up, I didn’t have access to the resources that many others in this field had. Everything I’ve learned, I taught myself, with whatever gear I could get my hands on. Even when I went to DJ school, I didn’t have my own equipment, which made it hard to practice or even get gigs.

With each small step forward, I’ve been battling the constant feeling that my career might get stuck without the right tools. The right equipment would finally give me the freedom to express myself fully, to practice anytime, and take my sets to a whole new level. I’m hoping this fundraiser will be the final push that gets me the equipment I need to make my dream a reality.
