Story
Hello, my name is Zara, and I’m here with a heart full of hope to ask for your help for my dear friend Ivan.
I’ve known Ivan for over 15 years, and he’s always been a hardworking, honest, and incredibly generous person. Throughout the time I’ve known him, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need—friends, family, and even strangers in Brazil. He’s the kind of person who gives selflessly, always with a smile on his face and a big heart.
But now, life has taken a very difficult turn for him. Ivan is facing a time of immense struggle and pain. After living in the United States for 24 years, at 50 years old, he’s had to endure a series of devastating challenges. Following a painful breakup, he lost everything he invested in cryptocurrency due to a hacking incident. To make matters worse, he hasn’t been able to secure stable work because of his probation status.
Right now, he’s behind on his rent and fighting to cover basic living expenses. Despite all this, Ivan has not given up. He’s been doing odd jobs and working wherever he can to stay afloat.
I decided to create this campaign because I believe we can make a difference together.
