Hi, my name is Chloe, and in just a few weeks, I’ll be turning 16. It’s a milestone birthday—one I’ve dreamed about for years. But this year, my biggest wish isn’t for a car, a party, or even a fancy cake. My one and only wish is to spend the day shopping, laughing, and making memories with my best friend, Maddie.

Maddie and I have been best friends since we were little, but there’s one problem—we live hundreds of miles apart. We only get to see each other once a year, and every moment we spend together is precious. Over the years, we’ve stayed close through late-night calls, long messages, and silly video chats. But nothing compares to actually being together.

This year, Maddie is flying in just for my birthday, and I want to make it special. We’ve always dreamed about having a real “best friend day”—going shopping, trying on clothes we’ll probably never buy, sipping overpriced coffee, and just being normal teenagers for once. But money is tight, and my family can’t afford to give me the day I’ve been hoping for.

That’s why I’m asking for a little help. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. It would go toward a simple but perfect day—maybe a new outfit to remember this birthday by, maybe lunch at our favorite place, maybe just a little something to make Ava’s trip worthwhile.
