Story

Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time to read my request for help.  I have a very hard time asking for help, but I need to put my pride and ego aside.  I received a message 2 nights ago that my mother is in the ICU of our home town hospital in Indiana.  I live in Florida as a single mom, and have no emergency funds to make the trip home.  I am doing everything possible to get there, but keep hitting dead ends. I have applied and been denied for emergency loans, and don’t have much of value to pawn, but going to try that also.  Please.  My mother’s health is deteriorating fast.  She was admitted for an infection that they cannot find the cause for. Her kidneys have stopped functioning and has to be on dialysis.  I don’t know much more than that information at the moment, but you can see the urgency.  She is diabetic, and I fear this has just been too much for her body to handle.   I’m just praying for the chance to see my mom one more time and hug her.  Thank you.
