Feed my family
Story
I am a single mother to my beautiful 3 year old daughter, Aviani. I recently moved back in with my family due to not being able to afford bills on my own. I lived in a two bedroom, income based apartment. Being in between jobs already and having a kid was the cheapest option I had. So to keep my apartment and the utilities check every month, I wasn’t allowed to get a job. So that ended in me only relying on $100 check every month all while having $250 light bill and $40 water bill plus needing food so it wasn’t really a helping hand for single parents. I managed to keep that apartment for a year. But now I’m back home with my daughter in a 3 bedroom house with now including us, 5 people living in. My parents were struggling enough on their own so I truly feel like a burden on them. And taking a year off of work has taken a toll on my mental health to get back into the routine of working or finding work again. I really do try. But it seems a lot more difficult to do these days. Now they have more mouths to feed and less room and more stress. It’s really heartbreaking to go through this let alone put others through it. So my point is if anyone has anything that they can so kindly share with me and my family, we would so greatly appreciate it. Even $1. Anything would help us just for right now until things start to get better again. Until I can find good paying work without having to put my daughter off on my family who have their own lives. Anything to help us eat for the week until my dad gets his paycheck. After paying bills there’s not a lot left for food that would last until the next check. Thank you so much for taking your time out to even read my struggle story.. we are forever grateful for life and all that we have. Much love! 🙏🏼
