Hi all. I’m a black male in my early 40s and despite having an advanced version of a very limiting disability called Ankylosing Spondylitis, I have managed to work and support myself decently well.

Unfortunately, I have had the medicine I take for my pain stop working recently and I have had to miss a lot of work while working with my medical care team to get on a new regimen. At this point, I have no more PTO or FMLA time available. I am working on starting the process for short term disability but it will take time to kick in.

I have pawned as much as I can and gave been blessed enough to receive help from family and friends, but I am still a bit short on upcoming rent. While my landlord has been gracious and understanding, I am at the point where I do not want to continue to be late in an inconvenience. I am asking if a generous donor would be willing to help. In total $500 should be enough to take care of what I am sort on for rent and utilities.
