Disabled and Waiting for Social Security – I’m About to Lose My Home
Story
Hello,
My name is Ronald, and I’m reaching out in desperate need of help. I used to work as an over-the-road truck driver until a stroke in 2010 changed my life forever. Doctors warned me at the time to plan for the worst, as another stroke could be fatal.
Since then, I’ve suffered a heart attack, developed type 2 diabetes, have a bad hip, and lost vision in my left eye due to a cataract. I’m no longer able to work, and I currently have no income—my Social Security disability claim is under appeal, and I’m waiting for a decision.
For now, I’m surviving with help from friends, churches, and local resources, but those are quickly running out. I have no transportation, and I’m at serious risk of losing my home.
If you can, please consider donating anything to help me stay housed and meet basic needs while I wait for my case to be approved. Any amount makes a big difference.
Thank you for your time and compassion.
Sincerely,
Ronald L. Fivecoat Jr.
