Ashamed but asking for help with my mother’s cancer treatment

I’m ashamed to ask for help from strangers but I desperately need help for my mother. She has been diagnosed with lung cancer and the medication for her treatment (Tagrisso) is very costly. It is uncertain whether or not she will be able to continue to afford this medication down the line (insurance/financial issues). She is struggling with her treatment and there are so many concerns about the future. We could really use a hand from any kind people out there. I understand there is very little reason to trust anyone on the internet these days but I hope someone will help. Even if you choose not to, thank you for at least taking the time to read this request. I came here scared and not knowing what to do. I’ve never asked for help like this on the internet before and, to be honest, my hope is very low. I have as much reason to distrust people in the world as anyone else. Life is not easy sometimes. But I figured this website might be worth giving a shot at least. I’m trying to pull my own life together. I just want my mother to be okay, that’s all. Thank you for your time.
