I hope this message finds you in good spirits. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a humble request for support during a challenging time in my life. As a single mother to an amazing 9-year-old boy, I have been doing my best to navigate a difficult situation alone since my husband abandoned our family. The emotional and financial impact has been overwhelming, leaving me in a position where I urgently need assistance to make ends meet.

Currently, my rent is $900, and I am struggling to keep up with essential bills for electricity, water, and gas—utilities that are vital for both my and my son’s well-being. The weight of these responsibilities has become increasingly burdensome, especially as my hours at work have drastically decreased from an average of 40 hours to just 24 hours a week, with no extra hours available. This reduction in income has made it nearly impossible to cover our basic living expenses.

In addition to these struggles, I rely on my car to commute to work and take my son to school, but with rising gas prices adding to my financial stress, I’ve been unable to fill the tank consistently.
