Story

I am a single mother of two incredible boys, balancing life as a full-time nursing student while holding down a full-time job. It’s a juggling act that I face with determination every single day, but the weight of the challenges I carry is heavier than many might realize. Like so many others, the Covid-19 pandemic hit me hard—financially, emotionally, and mentally. During that time, I accumulated $35,000 in debt while trying to keep my family afloat, a burden that still follows me today.

When the pandemic began, I did my best to keep things together, but as the world slowly emerged from its grip, I found myself still drowning in financial turmoil. Expenses mounted while resources dwindled. I was working tirelessly to provide for my boys, but I simply couldn’t keep up with the demands of recovering from such a devastating period. What little savings I had vanished into rent, utilities, and basic necessities. Each passing month felt like another uphill battle that I was fighting alone.

Now, I’m on a mission to create a brighter future for my boys. I’m working tirelessly to complete nursing school, so I can build a stable and rewarding career that will finally lift us out of the financial hole we’ve been stuck in. My days are packed from sunrise to long past sunset—attending classes, working full-time, caring for my boys, and studying whenever I can squeeze in a moment. Yet despite my efforts, the debt feels like a shadow that refuses to leave.

Being a single parent has taught me resilience. My boys are my greatest source of strength and my reason for fighting so hard. They deserve a life free of the stress and limitations that debt brings. They deserve to see a mom who not only dreams but succeeds—who shows them that perseverance and hard work can lead to something better.

I’m not asking for sympathy; I’m asking for help. Your support, no matter the size, could make all the difference in our lives. It could mean paying off just a little more of the debt so I can focus on graduating and building a stable future. It could mean easing the constant worry in my heart and allowing me to breathe a little easier, knowing that I’m one step closer to providing my boys the life they deserve.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and generosity could truly change our lives. ❤️
