A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED. After about a year searching for a job in my field I finally landed one. I’m Michael and I am an Industrial Maintenance Technician. I recently Interviewed for a Industrial Maintenance Technician position with a company 32 min from my home. 45 minutes after leaving the interview they called me and stated they wanted to offer me a job. Great pay, hours, and great people. Of course I accepted. My only dilemma is reliable transportation to and from work. My fiance has her car but she has a full schedule. She works two jobs and is only able to get me to and from the job 2 days out of the week. My background has already been completed and I took my drug screen on 03/21/2025. It’s due back today 03/24/2025. I know I passed the drug screen no problem. So the company will be calling me either today March 24th or Tuesday March 25th with an official start date. I am so excited I can hardly sleep from thinking about this job. I am in need of a car. I have been window shopping for cars online. I have found a couple really nice ones for about $3,500-$4,000. I am asking for a total of $5,000. $5,00 would get me the car with the title, insurance, be able to pay property tax, and get the tag for the new to me car. Please find it in your heart to help. I am so determined to not fail it’s unreal. This money will be spent exactly on the things I listed in the campaign pledge. It will also set the tone for my up and coming wonderful future.
