Asking for help is never easy – but this is deeply personal.

My family and I haven’t been able to visit Ghana for many years, but now my grandfather has passed away.
I need to go home to say goodbye and be with my family in this time of grief. Right now, however, I simply can’t afford to make the trip on my own.

I want so badly to contribute to the funeral and be present during what might be one of the most important moments in a long time. But I lack the funds for both the travel and the practical arrangements.
