Begslist
Begslist was run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to helping those in need without expecting anything in return. Unfortunately, in 2010, the site had to close its doors when the volunteers could no longer sustain the time and effort required to compete with other crowdfunding platforms.
Fast forward to August 2024, Begslist relaunched its website with a renewed mission: to spark an altruistic movement of people helping people and to empower individuals to earn money by promoting others' fundraising pages through a new affiliate program. The new Begslist aims to reignite the spirit of community, kindness, and support that first made it a groundbreaking platform.

People Helping People
While Begslist supports a wide range of fundraising needs, including emergencies, medical bills, education, funeral expenses, vet bills, and disaster relief, it is often used for individual or family-related campaigns for those in dire needs.
Our mission is to connect those in need with generous supporters through altruism, offering an easy-to-use platform for fundraisers of all kinds and fostering a culture of giving and support.
Begslist.org is more than just a website; it’s a movement that embodies the spirit of people helping people. Our vision for fundraising goes beyond transparency, trust, and impact—it’s about sparking random acts of kindness and connecting individuals with meaningful causes.
Begslist.org was founded in 2007 by Rex Camposagrado and was originally started as a blog called begslist.blogspot.com.[2]Â He created the site to help people who wanted to ask for help by getting donations anonymously; avoiding the embarrassment of having to beg in person or for those trying to find another alternative avenue to finding help any way they could.

The Impact
Begslist primarily focuses on personal fundraisers with a portion of donations funding climate change. While it supports a wide range of fundraising needs, including emergencies, medical bills, education, funeral expenses, vet bills, and disaster relief, it is often used for individual or family-related campaigns for those in dire needs.
