From Hardship to Happily Ever After: Help David & Ashley Say “I Do”

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are David and Ashley, and our love story began in the most unlikely of places—during a time when both of us were homeless, searching not only for shelter, but for hope. In the midst of struggle, we found each other. What started as survival became something extraordinary: a love that gave us strength, purpose, and the courage to dream again.

Since that day, we’ve come a long way. Together, we have blended our two families into one, raising seven beautiful children and building a life centered around love, growth, and resilience. While we are both in school and working toward a better future, we have little financial or familial support—but an abundance of faith and love.

Now, we’re dreaming of a wedding this summer—not just for us, but for our children, who have been part of every step in our journey. This celebration is more than just a ceremony. It is a symbol of everything we’ve endured and everything we aspire to become as husband and wife.

We are reaching out to ask for your help in making our dream wedding a reality. While financial contributions are deeply appreciated, we also welcome donations of time, resources, services, or items—including a venue, food, a DJ or AV setup, dresses, tuxedos, decorations, or anything else that could help bring our vision to life.
