Help a Single Mother of 3 & Her Daughter with Epilepsy Escape Homelessness

Hello, my name is Brittney, and I am a single mother of three wonderful children, including a daughter who bravely battles epilepsy. Our lives took a devastating turn when we fell victim to a rental scam, leaving us homeless in a moment’s notice. In the midst of struggling to make ends meet, we faced the terrifying reality of domestic violence. A kind stranger came to our rescue and saved us from further harm. Despite all these trials, we find ourselves stuck in a shelter in Georgia, living in fear and uncertainty.

My daughter’s epilepsy adds another layer of complexity to our situation. Due to complications with her medical insurance, we were denied critical back pay of $6228, making it even more challenging to cover her necessary treatments. As a full-time student, I constantly strive to give my children a better future, but it seems like every paycheck only covers our immediate needs – school clothes, medical expenses, overdue bills like car insurance, paying for food out of pocket, and other essentials.
