My name is D. Heard, and I am a disabled veteran doing my best to support my family on a single, limited income. With the rising costs of food, utilities, and our mortgage, it has become increasingly difficult to make ends meet. My wife has ongoing health issues that require care, and we also take care of my mother-in-law, who has dementia and lives with us full-time. Despite my best efforts to keep up, we have fallen drastically behind on our mortgage and often struggle to keep the lights on.

We are reaching out in a time of true need, hoping for any support that can help us stay afloat. The stress of trying to provide for my family while ensuring my mother-in-law receives the care she needs has taken a toll, and we are in desperate need of assistance.
