Why I Need Your Help

I am seeking to raise at least three to six months’ worth of financial support to cover my rent expenses while I search for a stable job. My total monthly rent expenses are approximately $1,900. To stay afloat, I am asking for support to help cover:

  • Three months of living expenses: $5,700 (minimum goal)
  • Six months of living expenses: $11,400 (ideal goal for full stability)

How Your Support Will Help

Your donations will go directly towards keeping a roof over the heads of my family and mine. I will do my best to work on maintaining my transportation for job interviews and cover essential bills while I work hard to get back on my feet, I will try to work that out to the best of my ability. I just refuse to go homeless because of this matter. So, I come to you all humbly as I know how and I’m just asking for an act of kindness.

Any amount helps, whether it’s $1, $5, $10, $50, or more—every donation is deeply appreciated! If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing my story with others who might be able to help.

My Story: Wrongfully Forced Out of My Job

Hello, my name is Damian, and I am reaching out for support as I navigate an incredibly difficult time in my life. I was recently forced out of my job at Immaculate Mary Center due to retaliation, workplace harassment, and unfair treatment. After dedicating myself to my work, helping patients, and ensuring the smooth operation of the admissions process, I was targeted by the Head Administrator, who micromanaged me and ultimately pushed me out unfairly.

I was a dedicated and high-performing employee. In my third month working at IMC, I was voted Employee of the Month, a recognition that reflected my strong work ethic, dedication to patients, and commitment to excellence. I worked at IMC for over a year, consistently meeting expectations and excelling in my role.

How This Happened

I worked as a concierge and admissions coordinator, responsible for welcoming new patients, managing patient intake processes, and ensuring smooth transitions within the facility. Despite never receiving a single disciplinary action, write-up, or poor performance review, I suddenly found myself in an HR meeting with an ultimatum: sign an inaccurate 30-day performance review with the potential of termination or leaving the company.

From the very beginning of my employment, the head Administrator created a hostile work environment. His micromanagement, excessive scrutiny, and constant changes to my job duties made it difficult to work efficiently. I loved my job—I loved helping people, serving the patients, and being a part of something meaningful. However, my experience with the head Administrator was unprofessional and discouraging, making it difficult to enjoy work at times. Despite my passion for the job, the head Administrator’s behavior turned my experience at IMC into a struggle, and ultimately, his retaliation ended my opportunity there.

Even though there were days when I dreaded going to work because of the Administrator’s constant interference, I still showed up every day, put a smile on my face, and remained proactive. I stayed focused on my duties, ensuring the patients received the best care possible and fulfilling my job responsibilities with professionalism and dedication.

This retaliation happened after an incident where I stood up for my rights legally. On January 23, 2025, the head Administrator demanded that I return to the patient floor while I was on my lunch break. I respectfully informed him that I was still on my lunch break and showed him proof using a timer that I set on my phone. The head Administrator did not like that I was able to stand up for myself legally, and the very next day, January 24, 2025, I was unexpectedly placed into an HR meeting and given a 30-day performance review with the threat of termination.

I refused to sign the performance review because it was not accurate or fair. This Administrator was holding me accountable for tasks and work delays that resulted from me following his direct leadership and orders, yet he refused to revise the document to reflect the truth. I was ultimately forced out of my job under these unfair conditions. I’m being held accountable for everything, but this Administrator isn’t. Even though I shared my complaints with the management departments, throughout the time of my employment at IMC, he wasn’t held accountable.

I lost my only source of income and have been struggling to find another job while managing rent, car payments, insurance, and basic living expenses. I have exhausted my savings and urgently need financial help to stay afloat until I can secure new employment.
