I have had seizures since I was 13, and now I’m 31. I also have depression and chronic pain. Initially I was on disability, but I got cut off for not having enough seizures because they calmed down. They put me on welfare instead, and I’ve been looking for work since August 2023.. no jobs because of my gap in “regular work” because walking dogs when I physically could didn’t count as work to them, I guess. I’ve since been cut off because my bf apparently makes too much(we were struggling when I still had welfare btw). My seizures have started again.. it’s going to be a long process to reapply for disability.. months, even years. I have debt from getting surgery for my dog that I now know was not even necessary which I took a loan for that I have to pay monthly. I have no source of income to pay my bills now that I’m not even able to walk anyone else’s dog but my own(he knows how to deal with my seizures). I do not feel safe living with my bf. I need to get out, I don’t have a job, but I need something to at least pay my bills(he doesn’t give me money for that) til I can try and get disability back and find myself a room to move into, because I know for a fact that I won’t be able to afford an apartment to myself.
