Story

Hello, I want to start this off with saying thank you for even considering any lending options and giving me the opportunity to share my story with you. My name is Qaryl Glassco and I’m currently in a pretty bad situation and really need help. Back in may I was working for Amazon as a fulfillment center process assistant making not the best money but it was enough to get me through. I got an amazing job offer offering me 6 figure salary for my degree that I finished back in 2022 and was really excited to start, I signed paperwork was told my salary and was told the start date for the job and everything. So a few days prior to my start date I left my Amazon job so I can prepare for my new life finally working with computers like I have wanted to do my whole life and when I arrived at the office to start the job and check in I was told I couldn’t start. Appalled I asked why that is and I was told that the position required someone of more experience and they were unaware after enrolling me that I had no work experience in the field and only a degree, confused I asked them why the change as they were told initially that I had no work experiences but I do have a degree and I didn’t get a very straight answer. Since May I have been looking for jobs, in and out of $0 in my bank account not being able to get hired at a good standing job even with my bachelor’s. So I signed up to be a driver for Amazon and I actually got the job in August. Ecstatic that I’m finally employed again and will be able to pay my rent I tried my best to work as hard as possible as a driver for the company I worked for before. Then disaster struck me once again, whilst delivering a package to a customer in the notes she asked me to drive into her driveway to deliver the package so I did. Little to my knowledge the customer actually had an extension to their home that I did not see as it is hurricane season and was raining very hard so I accidentally ran into it. 3 days go by (hiding some information as to keep privacy of Amazon and it’s 3rd party companies) without me working because of the incident I was told I’m terminated because of unsafe driving yet after me constantly telling them otherwise and lost my employment on September 7th. Since then I have been to countless interviews but it seems cause I have been recently terminated I haven’t been able to find a place of employment that doesn’t include some type of pyramid scheme job that ask me to pay them money to start working or pays me $10 an hour OR commission on my paychecks. Both these options can’t work for me to continue living at home and I’ve tried over and over again and now I am behind on rent nothing in my savings and being asked to pay $1800 for rent that I just don’t have anymore. I’m asking for help from anyone who can assist me to please lend me $1800 just to avoid getting evicted as I’m only 21 years old and an eviction will look terrible in my records looking for a new place to live. I’m willing to give any and all information needed to anyone willing to help and I praise anyone who does. As of today October 7th 2024, my landlord says she will put in the eviction tonight and I’m don’t have much that I can do I don’t own a lot of property to sell and I’m just trying not to let me and my beautiful dog be homeless.
