I am  a 57-year-old farmer from Bakmeewewa, Hiriyala, Ambagaswewa of Kurunegala District of Sri Lanka, a remote rural area in Sri Lanka’s dry zone. Farming has been my only source of livelihood, but due to extreme drought conditions and lack of proper equipment, I struggle to cultivate my land effectively.

I humbly seek financial assistance to purchase a water pump and a hand tractor costs around $ 1900. These essential tools will help me irrigate my fields and prepare the soil more efficiently, ensuring a better harvest. With improved cultivation, I can support my family and contribute to the local food supply.
