Vandalized Car
Story
On October 5, 2024 my car got vandalized. I live in an apartment complex where there are only two parking spots given to the residents. Two relatives of mine are using those two spots where I am obliged to park outside on the street. That evenning me and my family came home from doing some errands. Parked the car outside and came inside to rest. At 10 30 pm a cop knocked on my door asking for me. When I got to the front door the cop asked if it was me and said to go out and check on my car. He said that when we get to the car to check if I see something different in it. So I found out that two 16 year old boys where trying to steal my car breaking the door handle and scratching the drivers front door. Took my car to the shop and the total amount for the repair is $2000. I barely make it week by week with my earnings. I have to come up with US$500 for my insurance’s deductible in order to fix the damage.
I am asking for help in order to fix my car and have a peace of mind. The sad thing is that I am still paying off my car.
