My name is Senamile, and I’m a 25-year-old fighting kidney failure. For the past few years, I’ve been on lifelong dialysis, which keeps me alive but takes a huge toll physically, emotionally, and financially. I have a remote job that I love, and it allows me to work from home while managing my treatments. But 80% of my income goes straight to dialysis costs, leaving me with barely enough for my medications and daily essentials.

Recently, things got even tougher. I tore my meniscus in my knee, and the pain is making it hard to focus on work or even move around. My doctor says I need surgery to clean up the tear, followed by physical therapy and post-op care to get back on my feet. Without this, I risk losing my mobility and my job – the only thing keeping me independent. The total cost? About $15,000, including the procedure, rehab, and any follow-up meds. I don’t have insurance that covers it fully, and I’ve exhausted my savings.
