Trying to Stay Afloat—Every Dollar Helps
Story
A couple years ago, I took out a car loan thinking I could handle it. Life shifted, income dropped, and now I’m stuck with a $9,300 balance I can’t shake. I asked about surrendering the car, but they said they’d auction it off for pennies and I’d still owe the remainder—with no car to show for it.
So I’m choosing to hold on, bare through it, and fight to pay it off. I use this car to get to work, to flip furniture and gear locally, and to stay afloat. Losing it would mean losing my hustle.
I’m not asking for luxury—just a lifeline. If you’ve ever been stuck in a decision that backfired, you know the feeling. Every dollar helps me chip away at this debt and keep moving forward.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for considering. I’m not giving up.
