Crushed by the economic crisis, my father lost his job when the company he worked for shut down. Both my father and mother now work as daily laborers, struggling to keep our family afloat. But work is scarce, and the little money they earn is not enough. With two sisters, a brother, and me trying to continue our education, we have reached a point where we cannot even pay our school fees.

We are unable to pay rent, and the owner of the house we live in has asked us to leave. We cannot take any loans because we are already buried in debt from these hard times. To get to school, we must walk 24 kilometers just to reach a public bus stop. We have no personal transportation, and the lack of reliable public buses makes it almost impossible for my siblings to attend school.

What we desperately need now is $30,000 — this amount will help us pay off debts, buy a small piece of land near the city, and build a modest home where we can live safely until my father secures a permanent job.
