Hi, my name is Beth and I’m in desperate need. My last 3 cars have all died, they weren’t in the best shape when I got any one of them, but it was what I could spend at those times. Now that this last one is out of commission so is my job. So, now no car and no job. I was a delivery person for one of the delivery food apps. I didn’t make a lot of money delivering food but I could at least put food in my belly and gas in the car. Now I can’t do either.

I have absolutely no way of coming up with any money for getting another car and to fix the one I have is estimated to cost me $4000 and the car isn’t worth that much. Paid $800 for it so I personally don’t see putting that kind of money into it, when after fixing the main problem; transmission, it would still leak oil like a siv.

Not only did I use the car for delivery, I used it to help my friend who is paralyzed from waist down. I would go daily to his house to make sure he was ok and not needing anything. I also took care of his dog and 2 cats. Now the dog only gets to go outside twice in a 24 hour period. The cats can fend pretty much for themselves except I would feed them wet food 3 times a week now it’s just when I can get over there. They all have dry food out 24-7 and water.

I would also go in the middle of the night of said friend if he would have to go to the emergency room or if he just needed something. Now I can’t get over there as often as I should because of not having a reliable car. It is hard on both of us and the other that have been recruited to help since my car is dead. By me not having a car it has cost him more money out of pocket to pay some of the recruits. He obviously lives on a fixed income, any extra money out of pocket takes a huge toll on his financial situation. I’d just like to get back to how it was before the car died, for him and his animals.
