Hello, kind-hearted people,

My name is N.W.Jayanyha Wickramasingha, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times in my life. I’ve always believed in working hard and taking care of my family, but an unexpected series of financial setbacks has left me struggling to make ends meet, and I’m now in danger of losing my home.

Over the past few months, I’ve faced mounting credit debt due to unforeseen medical bills and car repairs that couldn’t wait. I did my best to manage, but these expenses quickly added up and drained my savings. I’ve tried to get ahead by working extra hours, but my paycheck just isn’t stretching far enough to cover rent and other essential bills.

As of now, I’m six months behind on my rent, and my landlord has been understanding but cannot wait much longer. Losing our home would be devastating, especially for my young children. This home is not only a place to live but our anchor—a safe space we’ve cherished for years.

I’ve already reached out to local charities and government assistance programs, but the wait times are long, and the help available just isn’t enough to bridge the gap quickly. I’ve created this campaign with a humble heart, hoping to raise $1000. Every dollar contributed will go directly towards paying our rent and giving us a chance to get back on stable ground.
