I’m a single mom of a 10 year old boy. I don’t receive any help or child support and my mom has stage 4 cancer and my dads recovering from his 3rd open heart surgery..my parents aren’t able to help support us like they have in the past. I’m a recovering addict and trying to fix everything I destroyed while using. I went to long term rehab and just completed at the end of January. I lived in public housing and while I was in rehab I missed my income review and they raised my rent to the max and I ended up being evicted for owing $2,500. By the time I found out it was too late. So now I’m currently homeless and don’t have transportation to be able to work. I’m asking you for help so that I can get housing and transportation for my son and I, so I can start creating a life that my son can be proud of. It would mean so much to both of us.
