Imagine losing the love of your life, your rock, and your provider. Now, envision facing homelessness and hunger with six innocent children depending on you. This is the harsh reality for Sarah, a devoted mother struggling to survive.

Recently widowed, Sarah Nantumbwe finds herself with no shelter, no food, and no means to care for her six vulnerable children. The weight of responsibility, coupled with grief, threatens to crush her spirit. After the death of her husband  who was the breadwinner of the family in a motor accident, Sarah and her children were chased away from the rented house because she couldn’t afford to pay rent anymore.  She is left with no place to go since she has a big family which scares everyone from whom she seeks solace.

The youngest child, aged 2, cries herself to sleep, longing for a warm meal and a safe haven. The eldest, 14, bears the burden of responsibility, sacrificing childhood joys to care for siblings.
